To insert equations into Google Slides, you can use the built-in equation editor called "Equation." Here's how you can do it:
- Open Your Presentation:
- Open the Google Slides presentation where you want to insert an equation.
- Insert an Equation:
- Click on the slide where you want to insert the equation.
- In the top menu, click on "Insert."
- Access the Equation Editor:
- From the drop-down menu that appears, hover over "Equation."
- A sub-menu will open with various equation options. Select "Insert equation."
- If nothing is available, click any text box and hover on insert tab. choose special characters and start writing your equation there.
- Enter the Equation:
- The equation editor will appear on the slide. You can use your keyboard or the equation toolbar to enter your equation.
- Use the toolbar to add symbols, operators, fractions, exponents, and more. You can also click on the "Σ" button to access advanced functions.
- Edit and Format Equations:
- Once the equation is inserted, you can click on it to bring up the equation editor again. This allows you to edit and format the equation as needed.
- Close the Equation Editor:
- When you're satisfied with the equation, click outside the equation editor to close it.
- Move and Resize:
- You can move and resize the equation just like any other object on the slide.
